A CONTEMPORARY HOUSE
near Paris

The kitchen is defined by its pure and mineral character. A delicate palette of colored grays is displayed by a variety of rough textures. Simple, monumental volumes structure the space. The ceramic counter along the wall houses all technical functions. Its credenza, inlaid in the textured concrete wall, is locally highlighted by a thin shelf.

The central unit is designed as a multifunctional, convivial space. It consists of two interlocked elements: a high countertop molded in raw concrete, and a long table made of a steel on either side of which you can sit on high stools. The fine, graphic lines of the lighting, seats and silhouette of the table energize the masses of the furniture.

Large white doors conceal plenty of storage as well as access to the garage.

In the various rooms of the house, wood is the prevailing material, worked to bring warmth and rhythm. Each space called for a specific proposal: the cupboard doors worked like a pleated fabric, the sliding bookcase revealing a technical cupboard in the study, the suspended sideboard in the hallway overhung by three staggered shelves. Only the dressing room stands out with its anthracite grey finish.
